Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a colorless (light yellow) liquid with a strong irritating odor and non-toxic, but it has a certain corrosive effect on the skin and belongs to inorganic peroxide.

Using 2-ethylanthraquinone (EAQ) as a carrier, heavy aromatic hydrocarbons and trioctyl phosphate (TOP) as a mixed agent, it is formulated into a certain solution (hereinafter referred to as working fluid). The hydrogenated liquid is oxidized by oxygen in the air, and the hydroanthraquinone in the solution is restored to the original anthraquinone, and hydrogen peroxide is generated at the same time. Taking advantage of the difference in solubility between hydrogen peroxide and the working fluid and the density difference between the working fluid and water, the working fluid containing hydrogen peroxide is extracted with pure water to obtain an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide (commonly known as hydrogen peroxide). The aqueous solution of hydrogen oxide is purified by heavy aromatics and purged with air to obtain a hydrogen peroxide product with a specific concentration. The working liquid after water extraction is settled to remove water, and after being treated with potassium carbonate solution and activated alumina, it is returned to the hydrogenation process for continuous recycling.
